The Archdiocese of Cincinnati has substantially changed the way it conducts training for its Decree on Child Protection. All training sessions on the Decree will now be known as SafeParish™ Child Awareness Sessions. SafeParish™ is a learning management platform that provides a broad array of training, education, information, and programs for Catholic orgranizations. It is a child workplace safe enviroment program specifically designed for Catholic entities. Each Child Awareness Session will last 3 – 4 hours. No one under the age of 18 will be allowed in the sessions.

NOTE: Those who have been through the “previous” Child Protection Classes (and it is verified via our audit report), do not need to attend the new SafeParish™ training yet. All who have been trained under the previous system are “grandfathered in” for at least a year. More information will follow… Those new volunteers who need training must attend the new SafeParish™ training.
